Affordable Care is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager responsible for leading a team of four accounting services coordinators. Key characteristics of a successful candidate:

Responsibilities

• Reacts with urgency to process issues impacting customers by implementing actions to mitigate repeat occurrence
• Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy of payments and financial postings
• Manages team’s workload, leads staff in learning new skills & solving process issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Accounts Payable certifications highly desired
• 5 years of recent full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
• 3-5 years of being in a supervisory/team lead role required
• Knowledge and proven demonstration of Accounts Payable best practices
• Adept at working with large volumes of transactions
• Experience with vendor master data management and 1099 reporting
• Experience with Great Plains highly desirable or other large ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards)
• Must possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Comfortable with working in a rapid growth company, particularly one with a large number of locations (i.e. retail stores or branches)

• Effective time management, organizational, and communication skills
