About Your Role:

We are looking for a self-motivated Data Quality Engineer with a strong background in data management, quality, and analytics. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of our data systems and processes, and play a critical role in ensuring that our data is managed and utilized effectively to support our business objectives.

Your Contributions:

• Implement and maintain data management systems, processes, and tools to ensure that data is collected, processed, stored, and analyzed accurately.
• Monitor and evaluate data quality, identify and resolve data quality issues, and implement data quality control processes to ensure that data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
• Automate data processing and quality control processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Design and execute comprehensive testing plans for data pipelines and systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to design and implement data analytics solutions that provide insights and support decision making.
• Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions to support data exchange between different systems and applications.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field, such as mathematics and statistics; preferably with a focus on data analytics
• Experience programming in Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Python
• Experience with SQL and database management systems, such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building data pipelines and analytics data marts on MPP databases, such as RedShift, BigQuery, and Snowflake.
• Experience working on cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Able to work and collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail; able to identify and rectify errors in complex data sets

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000

Affinity Working Hours: 9AM-5:30PM
