Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Property Management team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our properties and equipment, occasional landscaping, and general make readies for Rentals. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems.

Responsibilities:

Performs all maintenance required to apartments, rental homes, and buildings of properties managed by Affinity property Management to keep properties in great condition and move in-ready.
Requirements:

Primary Duties

• Perform apartment maintenance in response to work requests placed by tenants.

• Perform preventative maintenance in units and at properties as directed.

• Respond to emergency calls involving no heat, flooding, and electrical concerns immediately. (On call required 1 weekend a month)

• Perform maintenance, restoration and remodel to units after move-out and prior to the new resident moving in.

• Perform all necessary documentation of time, materials used, and description of work performed.

• Attend regular progress meetings intended to build communication and strategize work load.

Experience:

- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or property management field

- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

- Familiarity with city Rental Requirements

- Experience with HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing is preferred

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Strong customer service skills

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
