SUMMARY:

Responsible for the successful implementation and supervision of all activities related to creating player loyalty via the Player’s Club, Player Development, Direct Mail Programs, Promotions and Special Events. Responsible for achieving revenue, EBITDA, market share, and guest service objectives in accordance with corporate policy and Gaming Control Board regulations. Responsible for the daily operations of the Players Club and Player Development departments.

This position supports and reports to the General Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Creates an atmosphere that encourages guests to make Rail City Casino their choice for gaming entertainment.
2. Supervises the daily operation of the Player’s Club, Bingo and the daily activities of the marketing team.
3. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, special events, entertainment, and general property information in order to explain and promote to property guests.
4. Understands the competitive environment and can promote and explain the benefit features of the Player’s Club card.
5. Manages the creative process from conception to completion for all property signage, collateral, print, radio, TV including, but not limited to all internal and external advertising mediums.
6. Produce and maintain pro-forma and post-forma analysis for direct mail offers, promotions and casino special events.
7. Promotes new membership of Player’s Club, Players App, ensuring all critical guests’ information is obtained. i.e. email address, phone number, and physical address
8. Safeguards the confidential nature of department and general property records.
9. Effectively handles guest complaints and discrepancies in an effective and courteous manner.
10. Provides proactive, professional guest service.
11. Hires, trains, counsels and evaluates staff, ensuring team members receive the training, support, adequate guidance and necessary resources to accomplish established objectives.
12. Approve payroll when due for all direct reports.
13. Disciplines team members in accordance with company policies.
14. Ensures department uniform, appearance and grooming standards are followed and maintained.
15. Maintains an open line of communication with property Supervisors and Managers concerning all guest-related issues.
16. Produces all required reports in a timely fashion.
17. Keeps work areas clean and free of hazards, debris and litter.
18. Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
19. Performs all duties in a safe and responsible manner.
20. Other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for all Players Club staff, Bingo and all Executive/Casino Hosts. Must communicate well with other departments, including Slots, Table Games, Keno, and Food & Beverage. Must be able to communicate well in all conditions, and able to respond in a positive manner to guest or team member issues, ensuring all guests receive the best possible experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous supervisory or gaming experience preferred. AA/AS or Bachelors’ Degree in gaming-related or business field strongly preferred. Minimum three years’ experience in a Player’s Club, Host or other marketing role in a high frequency market.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Nevada Gaming Control Board Employee Registration and Alcohol Awareness Training Card.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
