Santé is seeking a Full-Time Peer Recovery Specialist to join our frontline crisis intervention team in Westminster, MD. As a Peer Recovery Specialist, you will perform assessments and crisis intervention, including de-escalation, crisis planning, implementation, and treatment plans with consumers in the community. You will also serve as the on-site resource for clinical information and partner with all involved parties, including but not limited to families, friends, and community providers. The tentative schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm.

What You’ll Do:

  • Effectively communicate clients’ needs while making internal agency or community referrals.
  • Serve as a liaison for collaboration with other involved parties, including families, friends, and community partners such as local police and fire departments.
  • Educate individuals about community resources related to mental health, substance abuse, available community resources, and the agency’s services.
  • Complete documentation in an accurate and thorough manner.
  • Abide by all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to confidentiality and protected health information.

  • Salary Range: $19.00-22.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

What We Require:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) or willingness to be certified within a one (1) year of employment (Sante will pay for your certification if you do not have it at the time of hire)
  • Three (2-3) years in full recovery and five (5) years lived experience with mental illness, substance abuse, or a co-occurring disorder.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance
