The Bookkeeper will maintain accounting records for parent company, consolidated subsidiaries, and unconsolidated related companies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

● Reconcile balance sheet accounts (cash, prepaids, intercompany, etc.)

● Record journal entries

● Analyze P&L accounts and explain variances

● Create ad-hoc reports for management

● Prepare monthly financial reports

● Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

● Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

● Experience with Quickbooks

● Expert with Microsoft Office Suite (especially EXCEL) or similar software

● Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

● Organized and accurate

● Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education and Experience:

● Associate’s degree in accounting

● At least three years of bookkeeping experience required

Physical Requirements:

● Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

● Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
