As a Systems Administrator at the Tampa, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our systems and services.

Essential Functions:

• Work in a team to support all technology needs of the users, sites, and infrastructure at the Tampa Location.
• Manage and maintain AEVEX's networks and systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades, migrations, and implementations, providing technical expertise, guidance, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure reliable connectivity and data integrity.
• Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and access controls to protect against security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Assist on ongoing programs where Information Technology knowledge is required.
• Verify and maintain federal compliance for AEVEX's networks, systems, and users.
• Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
• Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.

Qualifications and Competencies

• At least 3 years of Tier 2 Systems Administrator or Senior Level Experience
• 5 years' experience working in a Level 1 or higher support role.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Directory, Office 365, and/or Azure Administration
• Windows (Server/Desktop) and Linux Operating Systems
• Networking (Basic Switching/Routing, PFSense Firewalls, VPNs)
• Virtualization (ESXi/Hyper-V/Cloud)
• Understanding of Development Operations (Dockers, Containers)
• Understanding of workstation, server, and network hardware
• Familiarity with SharePoint
• Exemplary customer service record
• Strong research and analytical capabilities
• Experience heading up technical projects (research to implementation).
• Scripting capabilities in one or more languages (primarily Powershell).
• Experience with security compliance (i.e. DFARS, NIST, PCI, HIPAA, etc.)
• Experience supporting Engineering Teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Preferred Experience: ISSO

Education:

• Degree in Information Technology is preferred however 5 years of Relevant Experience with a HS Degree is acceptable.

Physical Requirements

• Constantly required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment.
