Job Title: Senior Splunk Systems Administrator
Department: Operations – Services
Reports To: RavenTek Program Manager
Location: MacDill Air Force Base, FL.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: Full-time, 40-hours/week
FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Summary
The Senior Splunk Systems Administrator supports the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL. This is a hands-on role involving the setup, monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading of the Splunk Platform. The position monitors system performance and capacity to ensure it can handle the workload of the entire organization and configures new data inputs to allow collection of new data types or formats.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end-user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and the end-user who operates around the globe 24x7x365. The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support SITEC.

Essential functions will be completed in a typical indoor office environment with regular exposure to video monitors. When working on-site, employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust.
Physical Demands
Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; see, talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
