We are currently looking for a qualified Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our team. The Treatment Plan Coordinator acts as a liaison between the patient and the dentist and must have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with patients concerning the treatment plan determined necessary by the dentist. He or she helps with scheduling, explains the treatments needed, and reviews all financial agreements, fees, consent forms, and insurance information with patients. In addition, the Treatment Plan Coordinator helps with other office duties, such as maintaining patient records, managing/ordering supplies, answering phones, etc.
The ideal candidate has some post high school education or training and two years of experience in a position of similar responsibility (front desk, administrative assistant, etc.), preferably in a medical/dental office. Candidates must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong administrative and organizational skills, strong phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with dental practice management software is highly preferred.
