Job Description
Aerotek is hiring quality technicians for a heavy industrial facility in the downtown Memphis, TN area. These positions are on 2nd shift and 4 month contract to hire opportunities. Shift: 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday (overtime until 2am as needed)
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a quality technician in manufacturing environment
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, and tape measurers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Job Description:
- Check machines each hour, complete quality checks at each machine
- Read and interpret blueprint, take part and measure to the print
- Perform calibration checks using micrometers, calipers, and tape measurers
- Check tolerances allowed for each part including width, thickness, and length
- Record information in manual data log
- In free time, may be asked to sweep, clean, or help others.
