This is a great opportunity to join a growing team at a well-established specialty engineered fastener and electronics distributor, headquartered in Bloomington, MN.
Primary Function: Performing quality control and inspection to ensure that incoming product meets the specified requirements of the manufacturer and customers, and providing quality assurance support for the entire company.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
-Understand the Aero-Space Quality policy and apply it to all job duties
-Inspect incoming product (visually and with the use of inspection equipment) to ensure that quality specifications are met prior to receiving product into stock inventory.
-Ensure that all product that passes quality control inspection is accurately received into the computer system, including detailed lot information.
-Maintain Quality Assurance records such as inspection reports, rejected material documentation, and product certifications.
-Professionally work with internal and external customers for problem resolution and to assure that customer requirements are met.
Education/Experience:
Minimum of one year of mechanical inspection experience and experience with electronic component inspection are preferred. Ability to read and interpret product specifications (ie: technical drawings/prints, aerospace and military specifications, manufacturer's catalogs, etc.). Working knowledge of mechanical inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, thread rings, etc.) is preferred.
