Position SummaryThe Manual Lathe Machinist will independently and safely set up and operate various types of manual machining equipment. Essential Functions· Read and understand process travelers, setup journals, operation sheets and CMM inspection reports to produce complex finished product.· Set up tooling adjustments and mechanical machine adjustments, as necessary.· Ability to accurately inspect work utilizing various instruments including gages, indicators, and micrometers.· Perform daily TPM responsibilities.· Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area. Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations.
