  • Work on a high-value program that strives to innovate program and project management, while remaining transparent to the citizens that voted to enact TIA.

As a Project Manager on the TIA team working directly with GDOT, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of all the River Valley TIA 2 (2023-2032) projects. This includes:

  • Management of the design consultants and their sub-consultant teams.

  • Prep, manage, and host weekly coordination meetings with the GDOT/TIA team

  • Tracking and monitoring of local Let projects to support the TIA Regional Coordinator in administering local government project delivery.

  • Managing, tracking, and progressing all tasks associated with the GDOT/TIA Let design projects.

  • Reviewing and approving consultant and local government invoices

  • Attending relevant in-person project meetings that include, but are not limited to concept team meetings, local government coordination meetings, public information open houses, constructability review meetings, field plan reviews, etc.

  • Review of milestone plan submittals.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • BS in Civil Engineering or related engineering or technical discipline and 4 plus years of experience with GDOT design and/or project management or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • A valid Driver’s License is required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, the selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Preferred:

  • GDOT Plan Development Process (PDP) training/experience.

  • 2 years of project management experience.

  • 8 years of transportation engineering experience.
