Job Description Summary:

AECOM Hunt is seeking a highly talented Superintendent/Senior Superintendent to join our Hunt Construction group supporting our Dallas, Texas location. This opportunity is a travel based remote position to travel to client sites. Anticipated hiring date Spring 2024 .

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects.

• Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.

• May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client’s resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.

• Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.

• Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

• BA/BS 6 years of relevant construction superintendent experience or AA/AS 8 years of relevant experience or HS 10 years of relevant experience

• Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.

OR

• BA/BS 8 years of relevant construction superintendent experience or AA/AS 10 years of relevant experience or HS 12 years of relevant experience

• Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.

Preferred Qualification:

• Commercial construction experience in public and private sector

• Experience in CMAR/GMP delivery

• Experience in one or more of our Key Markets, Sports, Higher-Education and Healthcare

• Large project experience > $150M

Additional Information

• This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.

• This position does not offer relocation assistance. Travel assignments will come with a Temporary Living Allowance determined by location.

• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

• 90% travel within the United States is required.

• Offered rate of compensation (Texas only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $80K - $171K USD annually.
