Job Description

AECOM seeks a Senior Inspector in the Hudson Valley Region.

The Senior Construction Inspector will ensure the quality and compliance of the Contractor's work according to the contract documents.

The main duties will include:

  • Ensure the quality and compliance of the Contractor's work according to the contract documents

  • Conduct daily field inspections in accordance with MURK,

  • Perform on-site field tests of materials and other construction activities

  • Collect and record data for monthly and final reports and estimates

  • Preparing record plans with any changes from the original plans

  • Provides on the job training to new employees

  • Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements

  • Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning

  • Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • HS 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • NICET III certification or a bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • Experience with the Manual of Uniform Record Keeping (MURK) standard

  • Valid US Drivers License

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with NYSDOT, NYSTA, NYS Parks, and/or Local County Projects

  • ACI Concrete Field-Testing Certification - Grade I

  • Experience with APPIA, Site Manager and EBO software

Additional Information

  • Relocation is not available.

  • Sponsorship is not available.

  • Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $76,000 - $120,000.
