Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to be based in Tampa, FL.

This position is expected to begin on June 2024.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study

• Intern 2 – completion of second year of qualified study

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.

• Must have completed second year of study.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

• Experience in architecture project construction documentation using Revit.

• Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suites products or other related graphic software.

• Some knowledge of project design and construction documentation and materials.

• Ability to work on multiple, fast-paced projects and documents.

• Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Portfolio submission required to demonstrate skill set.

• Offered rate of compensation (FL locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $19 - 26.
