We continuously strive for our work to leave a positive, lasting impact on people and our planet.Job DescriptionAECOM’s Environment Business in Perth is growing to meet the demand of a strong pipeline of exciting projects including wind farms, transmission infrastructure, Defence Estate, resource projects, major rail and road upgrades and future fuel opportunities. The team has an opportunity for a professional environmental consultant to join our successful Impact Assessment & Permitting (IAP) Team. This role will provide an excellent opportunity for you to contribute to and lead a range of projects, including high-profile, complex infrastructure in urban and regional contexts across energy transition (including renewable power generation and grid modernisation), transport, water, industry, and other sectors.What will a day in this role look like:You will primarily assist with reporting aspects of multiple concurrent environmental impact assessment and approvals projects of varying size and complexity.Work amongst a team of peers and alongside our clients and subcontractors, while learning first-hand from our in-house senior advisors and technical leaders.You will contribute to a range of projects sizes with opportunities to develop project management skills and will play an active role in project delivery and client management.Provide technical insight and communicate with multi-disciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, drafters, project administrators and contractorsQualificationsThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
