Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking an Environmental Engineer for employment within our Environmental Remediation Practices group to support remediation system operations and other remediation projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in remediation system design and/or operations, maintenance, and monitoring management. In addition, the candidate will have some experience in data management and basic technical report production. Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical for this role.

Responsibilities include:
Managing remedial system operations and maintenance
Remedial technology design and optimization
Modeling and analysis of remediation performance and subsurface conditions.
Managing and planning field work, including remediation systems operations, maintenance, and monitoring, groundwater sampling, fluid level gauging.
Field document processing and interpretation.
Interfacing and writing reports to clients and regulatory agencies.
Combination of office and field work to support projects.
Travel to project locations including driving and overnight stays.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, or closely related field and
2 years of relevant experience
Valid Driver's License, subject to a Motor Vehicle Record Screening
Preferred Qualifications
40-Hour HAZWOPER Training Supervisory
Master’s Degree is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to Health and Safety
Experience in environmental consulting focused on environmental remediation or wastewater treatment
Experience in remediation system design and/or management of operations, maintenance, and monitoring
Experience with analysis of remediation system performance

Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation for Atlanta, GA will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $57,000 - $80,000.
