What will I do?
- Provide general accounting and administrative support to accounting department; report to the accounting supervisor.
- Process purchase order requests to vendors; track purchases for the sales team.
- Follow up with customers and past due receivables.
- Review reports for regular and special adjustments.
- Support end of month closings and various ad hoc projects.
- Perform research on various accounting processes, analyze variances, and prepare appropriate reports.
- Enter financial transactions into our internal databases and reconcile invoices.
You’re a great fit if you have:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration; preferred but not required.
- Several years minimum general accounting experience with a familiarity of accounting principles, concepts, and techniques.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports, including skills in analyzing and interpreting financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and accounting software
- Team player with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ collaborative attitude
- Good communication and analytical skills
