Job Description:

Job Summary:

  • As a UI/UX Senior Designer, you will lead the design process, ensuring the creation of intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to create user-centered solutions that meet both business objectives and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Research: Conduct in-depth user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Use this information to inform the design process.
  • Information Architecture: Develop information architectures and wireframes to plan and structure the layout and functionality of digital products.
  • User Interface Design: Create visually appealing user interfaces, including high-fidelity mockups, graphics, and interactive prototypes that align with the brand's identity.
  • Usability Testing Plan and conduct usability testing to gather feedback from users and iterate on designs accordingly.
  • Interaction Design Define and design user interactions and micro-interactions that enhance the overall user experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to ensure the design aligns with the project's goals and technical feasibility.
  • Accessibility: Ensure that the designs are accessible to a wide range of users, including those with disabilities, and adhere to relevant accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG).
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the final product matches the intended design and user experience.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and contribute to the growth and development of the design team.
  • Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Several years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development is a plus.
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Proto.io).
  • A passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a keen eye for detail.
