Summary:

The Software Developer will be part of Global Sanctions Technology, responsible for all screening of foreign government watchlists. The Software Developer will be leading the development and implementing the Fircosoft technology which is the sanctions screening platform to identify a 'watch list' and processes transactions. Some of the development will be performed in Angular, the technology communications will be through Kafka as Fircosoft will eventually have a Kafka integration component. All applications in the future will be migrated to the Cloud so .Net Core experience is required.

The software developer will be developing reporting through PowerBI and other reporting tools on an adhoc and on demand basis, the software developer will need SQL experience and able to understand sanctions platforms (Fircosoft ideally), Understanding of sanctions and watchlists.

The Software Developer will be actively participating in Agile meetings and updating Scrum Masters and area leads who will have follow-up questions on updates.

Responsibilities:

• Perform application development using MS SQL server database and .NET Core / JavaScript technologies.
• Prepare excel comparison reports using Advanced MS excel skills, conducting peer code reviews, support production environment for issue resolution, create development documentation as part of SDLC process.
• The resource will perform development work needed for World Compliance watchlist testing, Sanctions Testing Service (STS) integration, Filter configuration and Rule Routing development, create and set up automated build and deploy process for vendor product deployment in production and non-prod environments.
• The resource will assist other developers to remediate Technology Vulnerabilities. The resource will also work on development effort required for DCF (Data Control Framework) onboarding and its API implementation.
• Day to day they'll receive assignments from the Software Engineering Manager under the RTM and work on the more challenging efforts to keep project moving forward.
• In the next 12 months we’ll be transitioning 24 feeds to the new platform.
• Handle business needs as they present themselves, do adhoc PowerBI reporting. Day to day will adjust as project progresses.
• Audits will require resolution within 24-36 hours, other projects may have longer deliverables.

Qualifications:

• MS SQL Server database with PL/ SQL
• .NET CORE, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET,
• JavaScript
• MS Excel
• Report design and development experience using Power BI or Tableau
• Lexis Nexis FircoSoft and Bridger XG tool (preferred)

Ideal candidates will have a developer background with report design experience, MS SQL server database experience, .NET Core experience, and experience of working on a sanctions conducting peer reviews.
