Business Analyst - SAP S4
The SAP Business Analyst conducts and facilitates workshops with business partners to gather requirements for complex Order-to-Cash (O2C) business procedures while providing best business practices knowledge to aid the design process for Thomson Reuters. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP S4 Order-to-Cash (O2C) modules and possess business process expertise and leverage this knowledge to design and deliver the necessary solutions. This is a key position with opportunity for long-term engagement as we embark on our SAP S4 transformation.
This individual will have key responsibilities in areas of business requirements gathering, acceptance criteria, content analysis, user acceptance testing, project management and implementation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Gather and translate business requirements into actionable work for development teams
- Draft stories and acceptance criteria and interact with ADO (dev/bug tracking software)
- Project Management
- Analyze and test content and application
- Document business processes and reporting processes
- Technical writing
Qualifications:
- Self-starter
- Able to prioritize actions among multiple teams to drive decisions and progress
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to investigate and understand requirements from a business perspective
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to connect the dots within complex systems and business processes
- Solid presentation skills
- Ability to report program status to high level executives
- Work well independently and in a strong, passionate, fast-paced team environment with ability to lead and actively participate in meetings with stakeholders across the business
- Familiarity with dev and bug tracking software
- Work in Agile and flexible environment
- Attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple, complex projects simultaneously, while adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
