Title: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Reports to: BI Manager 

Job Summary and General Duties:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, marketing, supply chain, and operations to ensure that data is accurate and accessible to meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources, including Salesforce, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Partner with key stakeholders across various departments within the e-commerce ecosystem to define data needs and translate them into actionable insights specific to customer behavior, product performance, marketing effectiveness, and sales trends.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to track company performance against goals and objectives and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex dashboards and reports using Tableau, including visualizing data from e-commerce systems, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, and loyalty programs.
• Conduct advanced data analysis using BI tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python) to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Work closely with senior management to develop data-driven strategies and initiatives that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Analyze business requirements to design and develop optimal technical solutions using approved tools and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in BI, data visualization, and relevant platforms like e-commerce analytics tools.
• Communicate complex data findings in a clear, concise, and visually appealing manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Present data-driven recommendations to senior management and stakeholders to influence strategic decision-making.

Attributes:

• Experience in design and development of data architecture, data flows, and Business Intelligence solutions leveraging the latest data/technology frameworks.
• Understanding of ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into a data warehouse.
• Strong mentorship and leadership capabilities to develop skills and capabilities across the department.
• Understanding of business processes, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Strong knowledge of web analytic tools.
• Understanding of data governance principles to ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of data.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or Statistics).
• 7 years of demonstrated experience (with significant experience in the CPG Industry and e-commerce) in delivering efficient data-led solutions across business functions, leading collaboration with business, technology, and analysts.

• Strong Oracle SQL and database management skills.
• Advanced skills in building and maintaining complex dashboards and reports using Tableau is required. 
• In-depth expertise in BI tools (Tableau) and methodologies.
• Experience with data integration with various e-commerce data sources and Salesforce.
• Experience with Google Analytics and retail-specific data platforms is a strong plus.
• Expertise in data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes is a plus.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep curiosity for data exploration, particularly in the e-commerce domain.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver solutions effectively.
