We provide affordable, fast-paced programs that positively impact the lives of students and the communities we serve together. Having started in 2013, our team has a great amount of experience helping public institutions expand their healthcare program offerings to meet the demands of businesses in the local community.
Since our start, HarperRand has grown over 30% each year. Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated full-time Associate Software Engineerto join our team. We are interested in candidates with a strong background in front-end development and an eye for UI/UX design, who also is not afraid to jump in and help on the back-end. This position is slated to start in November 2023.
The Associate Software Engineer’s duties and responsibilities include:
Developing, deploying, and maintaining software applications
Designing and implementing front-end web pages
Using UI/UX skills to create web page wireframes
Aligning design strategies based on Company direction and goals
Designing and developing microservices using various APIs
Assisting with managing the functionality of HarperRand’s CRM system
Developing new reports for the HarperRand team
Participating in sprint ceremonies and code reviews
Performing other responsibilities and projects as directed by the Chief Technology Officer
The Skills You Need
Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Experience creating web page wireframes in Figma or equivalent application
Experience with Python
Experience working with relational databases
Experience working with RESTful APIs
Understanding of object-oriented programming and Agile programming methodology
Strong attention to detail, creative-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and works well with limited supervision
Even better if you have
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
Experience with cloud programming environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
Experience with Django web framework
Experience jQuery and React
CRM experience, such as Salesforce or Zoho
1-3 years of related experience
