Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting, drywall, trim carpentry, and concrete finishing. If you have a passion for renovating spaces and possess knowledge of color theory, we want to hear from you.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting such as scraping, sanding, and filling holes
- Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, and cabinets
- Perform minor repairs on drywall and woodwork
- Use hand tools and equipment to complete painting projects
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction painting and related tasks
- Proficiency in using hand tools for painting and repair work
- Knowledge of color theory and the ability to match colors accurately
- Familiarity with drywall repair and trim carpentry
- Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Experience in concrete finishing is a plus
- Maintenance Person skills to maintain tools and equipment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
