Adventure at Burritt's Marine and Powersports is Hiring a Powersports Technician Near Oswego, NY

Job Description:

At Burritt Motors, We promise to provide trustworthy products and services at a great value to every guest we serve, everytime, for life. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Powersports Service Technician to join our team. As a Powersports Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for powersports. The primary objective is to provide high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire replacements, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
  • Repair and replace faulty parts, components, or systems.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections on new units.
  • Complete service and repair records accurately and timely.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a powersports technician preferred (Can Am and Polaris.)
  • Knowledge of powersports vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
