Registered Nurse - Acute Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team. Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document vital signs, changes in condition, and response to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
- Utilize sterile processing techniques to maintain aseptic environments during procedures
- Assist with senior care, including ostomy care and neonatal ventilator management
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe patient care environment
- Perform laboratory tests and interpret results for diagnostic purposes
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in acute care setting preferred
- Proficient in sterile processing techniques, vital sign monitoring, ostomy care, neonatal ventilator management, aseptic technique, medication administration, and laboratory procedures
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Pay: $40.00 - $52.00 per hour
