The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas
The primary function of the Imaging Assistant is to transport patients to and from Imaging Services Modalities. The Imaging Assistant will also maintain the cleanliness, availability and proper storage of all wheelchairs and stretchers. S/he will process films for the Radiologic Technologists as needed.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Transports patients for Imaging Services modalities and other hospital departments as needed using proper safety precautions for self & patients.
- Cleans & disinfects wheelchairs & stretchers after every use and stores them in the appropriate area.
- Demonstrates good communication skills with patients, staff & physicians.
- Shows concern & consideration for special needs, difficult & apprehensive patients & families
- Supports hospital service management program.
- High School Diploma
- BLS
