Compensation:

$18-$20 an hour

Shift:

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 6am to 4:30pm

    How will you make a difference?

    As a member of the Quality team, you are responsible for being involved in the inspection and quality control procedures in the Electronics Department. You will be responsible for purchased material, in-process material, and finished products to assure that quality control standards are achieved.

    What do we want to know about you?

    • Minimum of 3-5 years in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.

    • Minimum of 2 years working with/an Electronics Department

    • Excellent computer skills with a strong knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    • Proven ability to multitask.

    • Knowledge of inspection and quality control methods, techniques, and equipment used in an Electronics Department

    • Knowledge of the use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and schematics.

    • Quality and customer service orientation.

    • Ability to cooperate and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member.

    What will your typical day look like?

    • Work directly on the production floor with the Electronics Technicians to ensure quality products.

    • Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, make suggestions with regard to procedures, standards, and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.

    • Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practice.

    • Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records.

    • Investigate and determine the cause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors as to corrective measures.

    What about the physical demands of the job?

    • Must be able to walk, stand and sit for 10 hours per day.

    • Must be able to wear PPE for 10 hours per day.

    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

    • Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs.

    You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
