Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design complex HVAC systems, including air handling, chilled water, and hot water systems.
• Create construction documents using Revit.
• Develop automatic temperature control systems with sequences, diagrams, and point lists.
• Prepare documents, calculations, and energy modeling for LEED certification.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and construction managers.
• Lead multi-disciplinary designs and project production.
• Administer contracts with site visits, submittal review, and contractor assistance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Understanding of HVAC system concepts.
• Ability to design and manage large building HVAC systems.
• Strong technical background with a desire for leadership and growth.
• Effective prioritization and quality control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain.
• 8-10 years of experience in architectural engineering, specializing in HVAC system design.
• Previous experience as lead mechanical engineer preferred.
