Advantage Technical is Hiring a Project Manager Near Bedford, MA

Project Manager- Remote role in Media Agency transition.
Client is seeking a Project Manager within our paid media organization to join the Global Marketing team to oversee the transition of two (2) existing media agencies in EMEA to one (1) over the course of 3 months. The transition will occur between teams on two continents, working in Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
This position orchestrates the communication flow for proper setup with the new agency, along with the hand-off from the former agencies. This role liaises between internal and external teams, and will serve as the central point of the wheel during the transition period.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing agency transition timeline, ensuring the new agency’s accounts are set up in time for launch, structured to measure the media executions properly, as well as ensuring the previous agency hands over the appropriate data files for measurement and historical reasons.
  • Responsible for communicating and ensuring delivery of the priority items occurs, and communicates if there are issues with the timeline.
  • Clarifies and validates business requirements from marketing team, seeking input and acceptance criteria from them
  • Leads many increments of work at once for internal and external resources:
    • managing workflows and timelines
    • prioritizing workloads
    • monitoring resource allocation
    • adjusting the process as needed
  • Maintains exceptional cross-functional relationships with Marketing (media measurement teams) and external agencies.
  • Works daily with Media team and cross-functional partners to track progress, remove impediments and manage expectations collaboratively.
Skills:
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience of project management
  • Strong understanding of advertising and paid media landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and work with cross-functional teams
  • Transition Management Skills: Proven ability to oversee and manage complex transitions, particularly in agency-client relationships or agency-to-agency transitions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external vendors.
  • Timeline Management: Proficiency in creating and managing project timelines and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of the transition.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the transition are thoroughly planned and executed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Proficient in maintaining comprehensive documentation of the transition process and providing regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Strong and intuitive active listener capable of understanding the “message within the message”
  • Capable of operating independently and without direction, yet has the awareness to identify situations where additional guidance or support is needed
