Summary of Role:

As a Project Change Management and Training Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of strategic and enterprise projects by managing change initiatives and facilitating effective training programs. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong communication skills, a proactive approach to change management, and a keen understanding of adult learning principles. This is both a high-level strategic and a roll-up-your-sleeve, boots-on-the-ground role.

Key Responsibilities/Essential functions:

Change Management

  • Collaborate with project and functional teams to assess change impact, developing comprehensive change plans.
  • Develop change management plans with key communication and training components, considering project governance and dependencies.
  • Proactively identify change risks, developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate changes to stakeholders, fostering a positive work culture and ensuring adaptability.

Training

  • Strategically design, develop, and deliver customized training programs aligned with project requirements.
  • Create compelling training materials, including presentations, guides, and content tailored to specific needs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed to meet evolving project goals.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their needs and address any concerns they may have.
  • Engage with leaders and project teams to assess readiness through surveys, interviews, focus groups, or similar methods. Summarize change impact for executive management and project leadership.
  • Develop communication strategies and plans that address key stakeholder needs and provide ongoing communication in support of programs and projects.

Other:

  • Actively promotes safety rules and awareness. Demonstrate good safety practices at all times including the appropriate use of protective equipment. Reports and takes initiative to correct safety & environmental hazards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Masters’ Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree desirable
  • Preferred 5 years work experience with relevant change management or project management experience within the pharmaceutical or life science industry
  • Self-motivated, highly collaborative
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and translate abstract ideas or visions into terms that general audience can understand and perceptive to recognize when messages are not resonating or being understood
  • High level of professionalism and confidence to work effectively with employees from all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, functional managers, and the general employee population
  • Proven success in effective communication across all levels of the organization, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Experience managing and resolving issues, risks, and conflicts
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to communicate in fast-paced environment with frequent change and challenges requiring daily flexibility and continuous multi-tasking
