Advantage Technical is Hiring an Electrical Designer Near Houston, TX
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for various projects.
- Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct site visits and gather necessary data for electrical design projects.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including project reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all electrical designs.
- Provide support to other team members as needed and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design or a related role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, practices, and standards.
- Experience with electrical systems design in industrial or commercial settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
