Position Summary: The Procurement Manager for Corporate Services and Sustainability leads a team of procurement professionals, develops and executes sourcing strategy, evaluates product offerings, recommends suppliers, and negotiates contracts for corporate functions (IT, HR, Legal, Finance). In addition, this position manages the procurement sustainability goals and serves as the Together for Sustainability (TfS) Coordinator for the company. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee a team that will lead the procurement for all corporate functions (IT, HR, Legal, Finance) Develop and implement sourcing strategy to keep contracts and offerings competitive for the corporate functionsLead sustainable procurement for the company including partnering with Director of Sustainability and representing AdvanSix in external organizations such as Together for Sustainability (TfS)Oversee tactical purchasing for all corporate functions, including the issuance of purchase orders and/or payment of invoices Negotiate with suppliers to draw up procurement contracts; includes the negotiation, administration, extending, termination, and renegotiation of contractsEnsure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations Lead continuous improvement opportunities to improve upon total cost and address issues with supplier performance Create and manage metrics necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and the company’s competitiveness Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred 8 years of experience in purchasing and/or supply chain management Additional Qualifications: Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required Excellent verbal and written communication skills at different levels across the organization; excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to champion a cause and collaborate cross functionally to identify and implement process improvement opportunitiesTravel may be required
