Advanced Tire & Service is Hiring an Accounts Receivable/Office Assistant/Clerical Near Ocala, FL

Advanced Tire Service is family-owned and operating since 2011! We’re a local Goodyear, Michelin, and Bridgestone Dealer. We currently have five (5) locations serving Brooksville, Ocala, Gainesville, and Lake City.

In addition to in-shop services, our TIA-certified technicians and 24/7/365 commercial tire emergency roadside technicians get the job done! From alignments, brakes and fleet inspections to tire replacements on forklifts, farm equipment, construction equipment, and tractor/trailers. We service customers from retail, commercial, fleets, to Goodyear National Accounts and Government agencies, we are the Advanced Team! Our diverse offering to our customers helps drive our success!

As a member of the location's office team, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Previous experience in an automotive office setting is a plus
  • Strong record keeping and organization skills
  • Strong computer skills and data entry skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain databases and spreadsheets with updated customer information
  • Communicate with customers to request payments
  • Create and maintain aging reports
  • Send customer statements via mail/email and verify delivery if needed
  • Record cash receipts accurately and timely
  • Process commercial credit applications to determine credit eligibility
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
  • Obtain and request Sales Tax Exemption Certificates
  • Provide support to other team members and departments as requested

Job Type: Part-time with the potential of Full-time

Expected hours: 25 – 31 per week
