About Us:

ASG is a leading provider of technology and media solutions, dedicated to helping our clients create exceptional, immersive events and experiences. We are seeking a skilled Studio and AV Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will provide hands-on support for a video production studio and several specialty AV displays on our client's campus in San Ramon, CA. Your primary focus will be troubleshooting and repairing audio-video systems, ensuring smooth operations and delivering high-quality events and displays.

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate usage of the studio facility: You will coordinate the resource calendar, orient users to the studio, and maintain equipment inventory to ensure efficient utilization of the space.
• Manage AV systems: Respond to requests for video and image playlists to be displayed on the AV systems across the campus. Execute operations of the display systems, ensuring they function flawlessly.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting: Conduct first-tier inspection and maintenance of the technical systems in the studio and AV systems. Address any faults promptly and effectively.
• Set up for live stream events: Prepare the studio for live stream events, ensuring all necessary equipment and configurations are in place for seamless broadcasting.
• Procurement and budget management: Take responsibility for procuring expendables for the studio, while reconciling spending to a budget. Maintain efficient inventory control.
• Technical system design: Play an active role in designing our technical and workflow systems. Collaborate with external vendors to execute and support new builds when needed.
• Equipment maintenance: Keep audio-visual and video production equipment in proper working order through regular maintenance and care

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience and expertise: You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in video production, preferably with studio experience. You possess a strong technical inclination and can effectively analyze and troubleshoot audio-video system faults.
• Physical capabilities: You are capable of lifting heavy equipment (up to 65 lbs) and comfortable working on a ladder (studio grid is 14' high).
• Service-oriented mindset: You approach your work with a strong customer service mindset, striving to help clients achieve their best results. You respond promptly to queries, providing updates and following through on commitments.
• Knowledge and skills: Familiarity with video switchers and audio mixing boards is a plus, demonstrating your understanding of audio-video equipment and systems.
• Strong communication: You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and external vendors

Compensation & Benefits:

This role is paid an hourly rate of $35.
