Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drone Imaging Data Reporting Analyst to join our team. The individual will be responsible for analyzing data collected through drone imaging, generating insightful reports based on the findings, and ensuring compliance and efficiency in drone operations within the organization. This role requires proficiency in data analysis, report writing, drone operation, and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the use of commercial drones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data collected from drone imaging to extract relevant information and insights.
  • Generate detailed reports based on the analysis of drone imaging data, including visualizations and actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of data analysis methodologies and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret findings and develop strategies based on insights derived from drone imaging data.
  • Train and support drone operators within the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular assessments of drone operations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Stay updated on advancements in drone technology, regulations, and best practices to continuously enhance operational efficiency.
  • Create and Administer a maintenance /repair log for drone fleet units
  • Create and maintain a registration log of users with corresponding units

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data science, geography, remote sensing, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Certification as a commercial drone operator, with demonstrated experience in operating drones for data collection purposes.

Experience

  • Prior Drone Pilot experience required
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as GIS software, image processing software, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify patterns and trends in large datasets.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing commercial drone operations, including FAA regulations (or relevant local regulations).
  • Experience in writing technical reports or research papers is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Prior experience in training and development, particularly in the context of drone operations a plus.
  • Prior experience in interpreting roof thermal imagery for leak detection a plus.
  • Prior experience in interpreting solar photovoltaic thermal imagery a plus.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Successful Pre-Employment Drug
  • Successful Background Check
