We are looking for a responsible, ethical and dedicated warehouse/materials handler at our Pelham, AL Location

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing orders for shipment (hazardous and non-hazardous materials), to include pouring, mixing, sealing, packaging, labeling, marking, manifesting; contacting freight carriers to arrange shipments; final preparation of shipping papers. Preparation of picking tickets prior to final invoicing.
• Loading and unloading trucks, both company-owned, and private or public carriers; load/unload customer vehicles with purchases or returns. Operation of forklifts, drum dollies, and other equipment used in the pursuit of their duties.

• Placing Stock items into inventory, processing of receiving documents, purchase orders, shipping papers, etc.

• Process return items coming through the warehouse.

• General facility maintenance and cleanup to include cleaning, sweeping, trash pickup, mowing, interior and exterior cleanliness. Operator maintenance of forklifts and other tools and equipment used in their work area.
• Under supervision, proper handling, storing, and preparation for shipping of materials classified as Hazardous Waste (if applicable) to meet all local, State and Federal agency regulations.

• Interfacing with customers, suppliers, freight carriers and/or their representatives, presenting a positive image of themselves and the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
