We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team.

Position Overview:

As an Billing Specialist at Advanced Orthopedics, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our practice. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and collaborating with internal teams to support smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner, verifying proper approvals and coding.
• Payment Processing: Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of payments.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to address inquiries, resolve issues, and negotiate payment terms when necessary.
• Month-end Closing: Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, procurement, and other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall financial efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Billing Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant accounts payable experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
