About Our Company

AMT (Advanced Micro Targeting) has worked for over two decades on campaigns and petitions throughout the US. We gather signatures from voters to put issues on the ballot.

We sell BIG ideas! Ideas like making elections fair and protecting women’s rights.

Some staff stay for a project, others have worked here for 5 years or more!

About the Team Leader Position

Team Leaders gather signatures throughout the day, but also supervise 2-3 petitioners.

Duties include:

• Working with managers to identify good spots (aka “turf”) for your team members to petition.

• Being responsive to team needs, including managing breaks and moving people around.

• Knowing the location and status of nearby team members throughout the day.

• Consistently checking in and reporting numbers of signatures approximately every 30 minutes.

• Overseeing the turn-in of your team’s petitions every night.

Our best team leaders have these qualities:

• Excellent driving and navigation skills. Being able to use your GPS is great, but you ALSO need to have a general sense of direction.

• Good time management for yourself and your team.

• Numbers driven – knowing what the goals are every day.

• Friendly with a positive attitude.

• Flexible – things change often. We move our teams around and we go where the people are. Team Leaders are comfortable with constant change – this job can be stressful but it’s never boring.

• Outgoing & fearless – petitioning is exciting, but you also need to be able to let rejection roll off your back.

• Valid driver's license with a clean – squeaky clean – driving record.

The majority of our Managers and Directors began their AMT careers leading a team.

18 or older with a valid government-issued ID.

Must be able to travel for extended periods.

Must be willing to share a room with a roommate.

Have a working cell phone with a data plan.

Willingness to undergo a criminal background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.

High-energy – we work outside on our feet for a full day. This is DEFINITELY not a desk job!

Detail-oriented – petitions are legal documents.

Petitioning or campaign experience is a plus but not required. We will train the right candidate!

Team Leaders and Project Managers need a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
