Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot audiovisual systems in various locations
- Perform cabling and termination of audiovisual equipment
- Conduct software troubleshooting and updates for audiovisual systems
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Ensure proper functioning of low voltage systems, including audio, video, and control components
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to mount and secure audiovisual equipment
- Provide field service support for audiovisual systems, including on-site repairs and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate project timelines and deliverables
- Adhere to electrical safety standards and protocols during installation and maintenance processes
- Utilize hand tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair audiovisual equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and system configurations
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of audiovisual systems, including computer hardware and software integration
- Experience in field service or related technical support roles preferred
- Proficiency in telecommunication technologies and protocols
- Understanding of low voltage systems and electrical principles
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy equipment or working in confined spaces
