We provide hands on experiences and learning to assist you in attaining the highest level of competency! You create most of the fiberglass materials you see in day-to-day life from crossarms for high line poles, broom handles, door frames, door sills and a multitude of other products.

Responsibilities :

Set sensors for automatic up-cut saws.

Inspect pultruded parts for visual defects.

Perform any Quality checks as requested on the production order.

Report defects to the machine operator of that product so corrections can be made. Notify the shift leader if corrections are not made in a timely manner or if the defect continues to persist after corrections are made.

Finish cut pultruded parts to specified lengths as noted on the production order by using a stationary chop saw.

Verify cut length accuracy at the start of each new length

Perform any Secondary operations that are requested on the production orders

Place finished cut parts either on carts or on pallets as requested on the production order.

Package finish parts as requested on the production orders

Keep accurate counts of the quantity and lengths of good parts being produced and record it on the production orders.

Record scrap weights of defective product on the back of the production orders.

Mark carts of product with quantities and lengths.

Mark all packaged product with correct labels.

Assist in helping other personnel in the area for scheduled breaks.

Follow rules and policies as stated in the Employee Handbook

Perform other duties as requested by the Shift leader or other Management personnel.

Minimum Job Requirements :

Experience in using and reading measurements from a tape measure and calipers.

Ability to read and understand production order requirements

Previous experience using powered hand tools

Frequent walking, stepping, and lifting to 50 lbs.

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as earplugs, safety glasses and safety shoes

Able to work overtime as needed.

Compensation details : 18-20 Hourly Wage
