Join our thriving law firm specializing in diverse cases, including property damage insurance claims, business litigation disputes, and personal injury matters. We are seeking a dynamic First Party Property Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to contribute & lead our expanding business in Colorado.

As an Attorney, you will play a vital role in various aspects of legal proceedings and handling your own cases. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the legal team and support staff, conducting client interviews, and coordinating with expert witnesses. You will be involved in the entire legal process, from drafting legal documents such as discovery, motions, and appellate briefs, to trial preparation and attendance.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff.
  • Conduct client interviews and locate expert witnesses.
  • Draft various legal documents - discovery, motions, summary judgment motions, appellate briefs, affidavits, memoranda, and letters.
  • Investigate factual information to respond to litigation discovery requests.
  • Assist in all phases of case preparation, including discovery and trial.
  • Prepare for trial, providing trial support and attendance.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Travel throughout the state as required to meet business needs.

  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment.
  • Effective communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Current Colorado Bar License and in Good Standing.
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3-5 years of experience in First Party Property Damage insurance claims, business litigation disputes, and personal injury matters - Plaintiff side
  • Leadership experience
  • Litigation & Trial Experience
