Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience during their stay. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Greet guests and provide them with a warm welcome
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Assist guests with reservations, changes, and cancellations
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred
- Fluent in multiple languages is a plus
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is an advantage
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices
