Experience in oral/implant surgery and veneers/crowns preferred. Experience in using dental scanner a plus. The Dental Assistant will provide support to the dentist and help deliver quality dental care to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. We are NOT a high volume busy insurance office, but a high quality, low volume office offering high end treatment in a relaxed atmosphere.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team of 2 Prosthodontists providing high quality dentistry. Experience in oral/implant surgery and veneers/crowns preferred. Experience in using dental scanner a plus. The Dental Assistant will provide support to the dentist and help deliver quality dental care to our patients. Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation

- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred

- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology

- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping

- Experience with patient assessment and assisting in dental procedures

- Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems for dental restorations is a plus

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or knowledge of dental office systems is beneficial

- Familiarity with medical coding is a plus

- Proficient in taking vital signs accurately
