DiStefano Family Dentistry is Hiring a Front Desk Dental Receptionist Near Glastonbury, CT

Job Overview:

State -of-the- art General Dentistry practice located in Glastonbury, CT is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our Dental Team. The Patient Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient appointments, calculating insurance benefits and presenting treatment plans, answering heavy volume phones, billing, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and interact with patients in a friendly and empathic manner

- Handle Heavy Phone volume

- Call or text patients to provide reminders and confirm appointments

- Calculate, collect, and post payments into Eaglesoft

- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow

- Present treatment plans to patient

-Insurance Verification

-Schedule appointments for Doctors and Hygiene

-Provide the highest level of customer service to our patients.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in dental terminology and knowledge of dental office procedures
- Experience with dental billing, coding, and collections
- Familiarity with CDT-10 coding system
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
