Advanced Concrete Systems is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Center, PA
- Assist the Controller in preparing monthly journal entries and financial statements as well as performing monthly account reconciliations.
- Perform any combination of the following functions: calculating, posting, and verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounting records and general ledger balances.
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable entries and resolve any issues or queries.
- Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash and check transactions.
- Prepare income tax returns and process tax payments.
- Complete month-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Track and reconcile bank statements.
- Enter sales orders and process sales invoices.
- Enter cash receipts.
- Assist in payroll processing.
- Assist with financial audits as needed.
- Annual audit preparation.
- Banking relationship management.
- Assist the Controller with special projects and implementation of new processes.

- BS in Accounting.
- CPA experience desirable.
- 8 years of accounting experience in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, spreadsheets, charts, graphs and pivot tables.
- Great Plains Accounting Software experience
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated.
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
