Job Overview:
Attention: Seeking a full-time assistant in our Fort Myers office!

We are a Florida based, family-owned and operated, fast-growing lake and pond management company. We provide aquatic weed and algae control, littoral planting and maintenance, aeration & fountain sales and service, fish stocking, and other stormwater pond-related services to our customers. We are looking for an assistant in our Fort Myers office to help with both clerical duties and field work, such as:

- Assisting with the review of RFPs (Request for Proposals) and the write up of management proposals and/or contracts for new and existing customers,

- Placing orders for job materials,

- Keeping track of pending orders, pending proposals, scheduling, etc.,

- Writing monthly and quarterly reports for existing customers,

- Creating maps using Google Earth (training provided),

- Conducting pond assessments for potential customers and assessing ponds on a regular basis for existing customers (training provided),

- Meeting with potential and existing customers to discuss their pond management needs.

Skills needed to be proficient in this position:

- Knowledgeable in Adobe and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook,

- Fluent and skilled in both written and verbal English communication,

- Quick learner and easily trainable with the potential to grow with the company.

Training and templates will be provided to help you settle into this position. Field work is included in this position. Knowledge or interest in native and invasive plant species in Florida is helpful, but is not required – we will train! This is a great entry-level position with the potential for upward advancement within the company!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
