Advance Manufacturing Company is Hiring a Bookkeeper Near Memphis, TN
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations, double entry bookkeeping, and experience with accounting software such as JobPower.
Duties:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents and records
- Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and best practices
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and double entry bookkeeping
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Jobpower or something similar
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of account reconciliation processes
