Position Summary: On-site Order Processor

As an Inventory Support Associate, you will perform a wide variety of duties to maintain and control accurate levels of inventory in grocery and perishable warehouses. This includes the evaluation and research of simple and routine discrepancies, entering data information into warehouse systems, auditing outbound cases to retail stores, providing technical support to receiving and shipping departments, and exchanging information as needed with customers in retail, merchandising, trucking, and distribution.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Maintain accurate inventory of all departments within the distribution center.

· Perform quality control and auditing responsibilities.

· Monitor warehouse damage and initiate resolution.

· Notify appropriate department leads for product discrepancies.

· Utilize reports to assist Distribution in investigating and expediting issues related to inventory discrepancies and audit results.

· Maintain accurate, organized files for all department responsibilities for efficient access to necessary information.

· Recommend modifications to procedures or processes impacting work group or distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.

· Perform daily warehouse responsibilities in areas related to shipping, receiving and/or inventory management within established time frames.

· Ensure compliance with ADUSA Distribution standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

· Able to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to and including 30 lbs (boxes of paper).

· Able to stand for long periods of time.

· Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e. cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks).

Preferred Qualifications

· High School education.

· Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment preferred.

· Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable

Skills and Abilities

· Excellent customer service, communication, verbal and written skills.

· Able to meet production standards set by the company.

· Able to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers.

· Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties.

· Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes.

· Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to quickly problem solve in time sensitive situations.

· Work under pressure to meet deadlines.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; sound judgement and decision making.

· Ability to consistently maintain highest degrees of accuracy; working with a lot of data and numbers.

· Provide excellent customer service and consistently communicate effectively to customers and other departments and management.

· Be able to research and investigate issues and reach resolution.

· Fill out daily inventory control recaps.

· A critical role where punctuality is essential to the job function.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.80 per hour
